China Little Flower
We are proud to support China Little Flower, whose nurturing and selfless work provides a loving and caring environment for the rejected and abandoned children of China.
China Little Flower provides a range of support in the following areas:
Hospice care for orphans: China Little Flower provides hospice care to orphaned children who are dying. A quote from their website shows just how wonderful this work is: “Although it is difficult to watch little ones suffer and die, we consider it a privilege to be able to care for these children and to fill their short lives with love and happiness.”
Group educational foster care: These homes allow physically disabled school-age orphans to live in a supportive family environment while attending school and acquiring life skills that will allow them to one day live independently. They accept children with a wide range of physical disabilities including spina bifida, cerebral palsy, limb deformities, speech difficulties, deafness and visual impairment.
Special care for infants: China Little Flower run infant homes that provide intensive care for babies with complex medical needs who are abandoned. They focus on caring for babies born prematurely, those with club feet, and babies with birth defects or illnesses requiring skilled nursing care. These babies stay with the organization until they are strong enough to join families of their own.
Long-term care for severely disabled children: In this program China Little Flower provide care for older disabled orphans with severe mental and physical impairment. As these children have no hope of ever being adopted or living independently as adults, this work is incredibly important and without this support network many of these children would end up in dire situations.
Special causes: Orphans and children at high risk of abandonment or impoverished families with a particular financial need are given access to a range of support. Through this important work they can receive lifesaving surgery, school tuition, and foster care for children with pending adoptions, and more.
